I'm Loving: WRD Magazines

It's obviously no secret that I love books, especially when it comes to books for younger readers - from picture books to YA. So imagine my excitement when I discovered there is an amazing magazine dedicated to sharing children's books!

WRD magazines are for children aged 8-13+ (these are spread across two separate magazines, which I will talk about in more detail later in the post). The company rebranded as WRD in 2013, after previously being known as tBkmag. They really are the best source of up-to-date releases and what is happening in the world of children's books. The magazines include interviews, special feature pieces and - my personal favourite - extracts from new releases so you can have a sneak peek at some new books.

I have been a huge fan of Estelle Maskame's writing since the very first page I read. It's always captivating and hard to put down. I've found this with every book, from the Did I Mention I Love You? series to her first stand-alone novel, Dare To Fall.

Estelle Maskame is back with her new book, The Wrong Side of Kai, which I have been desperate to read since the day it was announced. I am so thrilled to be involved with the blog tour, so thank you Ink Road for asking me to be a part of it.

Author Interview: Lucie Wheeler (Mums Just Wanna Have Fun Blog Tour)

Hi all, I'm back after having a bit of a break from blogging (I have plans, I promise I'm not slacking!) and today it's my turn on the Mums Just Wanna Have Fun blog tour with author Lucie Wheeler.

I first met Lucie in September last year when me and my friend, Jess, decided to attend the launch event for Lucie's debut novel. We'd never met before then, but Lucie, Jess and I instantly clicked over our similar career paths and love of books.

After the launch, we kept in touch and we actually attended a book event together in November.

So when the opportunity came for me to be a part of the blog tour for Lucie's new book, Mums Just Wanna Have Fun, I jumped at the chance to support such a lovely, enthusiastic, talented woman.
