My YA Summer Reads

I thought I would do a follow-up to My Middle Grade Summer Reads post almost a fortnight ago, sharing some of the YA books that I've been reading/want to read this summer.

Now, I'm very aware that the summer is coming to an end as we approach September, but 10 middle-grade books and 10 YA books over one summer was always a bit of a stretch for me. In the past, that would have been easier for me but with other responsibilities and events, I was never going to read them all in my six-week summer.

Either way, here are the ten books I have started reading or will be reading soon...

My Middle Grade Summer Reads

Despite being in my thirties, I love a middle-grade book. I try to read a good amount of them for my job because I can then recommend them to the children I work with and be in the loop with new releases and what's of interest, but overall I just love reading them for myself.

This summer, there is a good selection of general books that I want to read - six of which I read while on holiday in Mallorca last week - but many of them are middle-grade books. So, here are ten middle-grade books that I want to try and read this summer (with two of them being ones I read next to the pool!)
