Book Review: A Little Bit of Positivity: Potatoes, Peppers and Pineapples to Make Your Day

I am so excited to be bringing you this book review today. From the moment I saw this book, I knew I needed to get my hands on it. Luckily, it was kindly sent to me by Scholastic to review (for which I am incredibly grateful).

You may have seen the little crocheted positive potato or other similar items on social media. I'm always coming across little crochet trinkets and crafts on Instagram. They're adorable and have made me want to learn how to crochet to make some of my own. They're like mini, crochet versions of Jellycat characters and I want a whole army of tiny fruits and vegetables with eyes and little legs! I think that might be a little project I set myself this autumn or over the Christmas break. I don't know how good I'll be at it but I'd love to give it a go.

This book, which is beautifully illustrated by Jason Cox, is full the the brim with the cutest little tomatoes, lemons and pumpkins to name a few. Check out a few examples below:

Here is the purpose of the book:

Embrace your bright side with a daily dose of positivity from the sweetest fruits and the cutest vegetables.

Packed with positive affirmations from loveable lemons, adorable apples, peppy peppers and more, A Little Bit of Positivity gives you just the boost you need, with encouraging words and optimism on every page. It's the perfect way to put a smile on your face every day.

This is such a cute way to get your daily dose of positivity. I've never really been one for affirmations but reading this definitely had me feeling happier and smiling more!

I think this book is fantastic for both children and adults. I think it would make a great stocking filler for those who celebrate Christmas; it's just such a sweet book that you can pick up at any time. It's cute, encouraging and full of optimism. What better way to make yourself feel a bit happier than reading positive notes from sweet little fruits and vegetables!

Thank you again to Scholastic for gifting me this adorable book in exchange for an honest review.
