It's week five of the Summer Reading Challenge and it's readathon day!
Today I'm sharing a book that I will be reading this week, but not as part of the readathon (unless I finish all of my other planned books with time to spare) and I'm sharing a recommendation for you too.
Don't forget, you can still donate to the 24 hour readathon, as we raise money for Rays of Sunshine.
Save the Date by Morgan Matson
I've been waiting for this book to be released, so excited to read it, and when I was looking up books on the library website I typed in "Morgan Matson" and saw that this book was 'on order'. So I requested it in and I'll be reading it this week. I think I'm the first person to have this copy as well, which is kind of nice. I have high expectations for this one, I'll let you know what I thought in my Summer Reading Challenge wrap up in a couple of weeks.
I have to recommend this book because about a week ago I finished the final book in this trilogy. Songs About a Girl is the first book in this contemporary YA trilogy, followed by Songs About Us and Song About a Boy. All three books are fantastic! If you love books about music or boy bands then I think you will love this. When I first picked it up I was told it was for "fans of One Direction", which I do agree with, but it's not just about that. There's drama, romance, friendship and so much more!
If you took part in the readathon, how did you get on?
